Help on the Document Number Search Page
This page contains information on the use of the Document Number Search
Page. If you have any unanswered questions, please read the FAQ.

The Document Number Search Page allows you to search for published applications by their publication ordocument number. While
you can search for published applications or document numbers in other
ways, this page is designed to simplify one of the most common types of searching. To
use the page:
- Type the published application or document number or numbers into the box. If you include more than one number,
they should be separated by a space. It is not necessary to include commas or to
capitalize the prefix.
- Hit the Search button.
The database will be searched for all the numbers you provide, and a list of the
documents matching your query will be returned, with the most recent ones first.
A list of all the published application
numbers in our database is available on the Database
Contents page.
A few things to Note:
- Anything you enter into the document number search box that is not a published application or document number (other
terms, operators like 'OR' or 'AND') will be ignored. The search will be conducted only on
entries you make that are recognized as published application or document numbers.
- The Refine Search box will use the same query format as the
Manual Search Page. See the Manual Search Help Page for details on its use.
